The CI People Directory integrates with LexisNexis to surface judicial, expert, and case-related insights directly within CI profiles. LexisNexis data is only displayed in the CI People Directory when the client or firm has an **Enterprise Subscription, and an active LexisNexis subscription** including relevant products. If a client is **not** subscribed to LexisNexis or doesn’t have a CI People Directory Enterprise subscription, no LexisNexis data will appear in CI profiles. **How CI Obtains the Data** CI receives data from LexisNexis through licensed data feeds and APIs, depending on the specific LexisNexis product enabled. This includes: - **Data Source:** - LexisNexis Context - LexisNexis Dockets (Courtlink) - LexisNexis Case Opinions - **Data Processing:** - CI maps LexisNexis data to existing CI profiles. - Data is normalized to align with CI profile structures and terminology. - No independent enrichment or modification of LexisNexis data is performed beyond presentation and linking within CI. **Requirements to Access Content Within CI** To access LexisNexis content within CI, users must meet the following requirements: - **CI Subscription Requirements:** - An **Enterprise CI subscription** is required to enable LexisNexis integrations. - **Licensing / Contractual Requirements** - Customers must have an active LexisNexis license that includes the relevant products (e.g., Context, Courtlink, Case Opinions). - Access is determined by the customer’s LexisNexis agreement and permissions. **What Content is Included** The LexisNexis integration provides access to the following content types within CI: - **Judicial Analytics (LexisNexis Context)** - Rulings on common motions - Cases cited most often - Judges cited most often - **Expert Witness Analysis (LexisNexis Context)** - Expert challenge analytics displayed on expert profiles - **Docket Information (LexisNexis Dockets / Courtlink)** - Docket-level case data associated with lawyers, experts, judges, and eligible neutrals - **Case Options (LexisNexis Case Options)** - Additional case and docket insights displayed on judge profiles only **Where Data Appears in CI and How to Access** When the LexisNexis integration is enabled **(CI People Directory Enterprise Subscription + active LexisNexis license),** LexisNexis data is displayed directly within CI profiles. Content visibility depends on the LexisNexis product licensed and the profile type. Users can select case titles or “See more” links to be redirected to LexisNexis for additional details.
